about

Growing up on a family farm and ranch in rural eastern Montana shaped the way I see the world and continues to inspire my work. Among the themes explored in my current work are the conflict/connection between people and the natural environments they live in, the gradual disappearance of a rural, agricultural culture lived in connection with the land and its seasons, and my own place within each of these unfolding narratives.
