Aaron Nix is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, digital artist, marketing specialist, photographer and art professor. He's a native Nebraskan interested in stories that inhabit place and how we can restore community and land through our shared experience. His work has been seen in numerous programs, film festivals and galleries worldwide.
Nix earned his Master of Fine Arts from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. He also earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in film and new media from University of Nebraska–Lincoln's Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film. He currently serves as an assistant professor of art at Concordia University, Nebraska where he teaches photography, video, film theory, moving image, and various digital media classes.
