Co-teachers and artistic collaborators, Chris Fraser and Doug Jones, discuss their experiences leading question-based classrooms and their desire to help students prepare for uncertain futures. Photography is changing. Society is changing. Our students are changing. Rather than meeting them with whole-hearted certainties, we have opted for radical curiosity, letting our students join us in the search for knowledge. What is photography? What is the purpose of critique? What is the value of education? Alongside skill acquisition, students learn how to learn, preparing them to pivot gracefully as makers and citizens in the unpredictable decades ahead.
