PRC Speaker Series with Janelle Lynch
Janelle Lynch is an American artist who uses an 8×10-inch view camera and alternative processes. Her work during the last 25 years reveals an inquiry into the life cycle, transcendence, and the realms beyond visual perception. While she photographed exclusively in the landscape for the first two decades of her career, Lynch's practice has expanded to include still life, portraiture, and cyanotypes. Her work since 2015 is informed by her training in observational drawing and painting.
