SPE Summer Workshop
Diptychs and Sequences: Making Meaning with Photographs
Related Member: Eric Zeigler
Join us at the SPE national office for a one-day photographic sequencing workshop with artist and educator, Eric Zeigler. This five hour interactive workshop will cover constructing diptychs, triptychs, and photographic sequences based on the form and content of your pictures. Participants are asked to come prepared with printed images (sized 4x6" or equivilent) to create new connections between the individual images in existing portfolios. (Pictures from multiple bodies of work are encouraged).
About the instructor: Eric received his BFA from Bowling Green State University and MFA from San Francisco Art Institute. His work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions across the country. Eric has been a member of SPE since 2014 and is featured in our summer exhibition, Off the Web On the Wall 3, on view through August 14. He currently teaches Photography and New Media at the University of Toledo.
Space is limited. Those interested in participating are asked to register through Eventbrite by Friday, August 7. Click here to RSVP.
This event is free and open to the public.
