Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar

The Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar celebrates its 40th year of education by bringing together for three days some of the best and brightest from the world of photojournalism and video, on Nov. 29 - Dec. 1, 2012 in Atlanta, GA.

This year's event features:

Photojournalism Speakers: Michael Williamson, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and staffer photographer at the Washington Post.
Stephen Crowley, who covers the White House for the New York Times.

April Saul, Pulitzer winner and staff photographer at the Philadelphia Inquirer.

David Gilkey, staff photographer for National Public Radio.
Jim Lo Scalzo, staff photographer for European Pressphoto Agency.

Video Day Speakers:
Vincent LaForet, former New York Times staff photographer and Pulitzer Prize winner, who has transitioned to the world of video and film.

Corey Rich, one of America's top adventure photographers, who was asked by Nikon to do a video showcasing their new D4.
Ben Knight, with Felt Soul Media, who does outdoor and environmental films.

Mike Kepka, staffer at the San Francisco Chronicle, who does a video and photography blog, called "The City Exposed".

Mike Senzon and Nancy Donaldson, with CNN.com's original video team.

Workshop Speakers:
Vincent LaForet (see above), presented by Canon's Explorers of Light.

Pouya Dianat, staff photographer for the Atlanta Braves.
Mickey H. Osterreicher, attorney with Hiscock & Barclay, who will cover photographer's legal rights.

Keith Jenkins, who oversees the multi-media operation at National Public Radio.

Judy Hermann, sponsored by the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), who talk about business practices.
