Meg Griffiths (b. 1980) is the Assistant Professor of Photography and Area Head of Photography at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. Meg's photographic research currently deals with cultural, historical and domestic relationships across the Southern United States and Cuba. Her artistic and academic practice show a commitment to connection and collaboration in all forms. She has shown work nationally at venues such as Columbia Museum of Art, Griffin Museum, Museum of Living Artists, Colorado Photographic Arts Center, Center for Fine Art Photography, and Candela. She was recently published on the cover of Oxford American and has a collaborative book published with Eliot Dudik, Nothing that Falls Away, by Zatara Press.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
