Friday, October 23 - 10:00AM to 11:45PM
WCAD 205 (Darkroom)
Come explore the beautiful and unpredictable world of lumen printing! This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the basics of the lumen process, an alternative photographic technique that uses sunlight to create images directly onto light-sensitive photographic paper. We will explore the process from exposure to final image, experimenting with objects and other materials to create unique photographic prints.
Whether you are new to alternative photographic processes or looking to expand your existing practice, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, experiment, and see what happens when photography meets light, time, and chance. Come ready to make, experiment, and leave with your own lumen prints!
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
Please join the conversation.
