Susan Moore found her way into photography with the gift of her first camera from her father. The camera was a tool for her to organize her thoughts and ideas and a ticket to events and places she could not access without it. These early experiences fostered a love of art and education. As a professor, Susan believes that students who study art at the undergraduate level find successful creative careers. She believes that studio art is an integral component of a liberal arts degree program and a strong foundation for success. She is dedicated to academic success through quality high-impact practices in teaching and learning. Susan is a photographer and teacher with a BA degree in art from Columbia College in Chicago, an MA degree in art education from the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, and an MFA in photography from Washington University in St. Louis
