Keith Davis received a B.S. in Photography from Southern Illinois University, and an MA in Art History, (photography), from the University of New Mexico. Davis served as Curator of the Hallmark photography collection before founding the Nelson Atkins museum's photography department, where he served as Senior Curator of Photography until November 2020. In his 40+ year career, Davis has organized nearly 100 exhibitions, authored thirty books, and lectured on various aspects of photographic history.
