Nancy Ori will share her knowledge of developing the skills necessary to go professional as a working photographer or exhibiting artist, creating a marketing and business plan, and how to promote your work to a gallery or prospective client. She has a unique perspective and 30 years experience in the business with her own company that runs workshops, art exhibits and covers commercial photography and video projects. Ori will share her experiences with regard to portfolio development, finding clients and galleries, preparing for exhibition or a shoot, and completing assignments on time and in budget. Discussions will also include pricing your work with regard to time and efforts, and marketing tips. This is a must-attend workshop for all artists wishing to jump into the business world and promote their work. Emphasis will be placed on how galleries, museums and clients will judge your presentation as well as the communication skills necessary to get what you want.
