Laura L. Camden is an associate professor at Northern Arizona University, where she teaches courses in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography. She is the author of the 2006 photography book Mennonites in Texas: The Quiet in the Land (Texas A&M University Press) and her photographic collection is archived at the University of Texas at Austin's Briscoe Center for American History. Laura has taught abroad at the University of Wollongong in Austrailia where she helped set up an exchange program and created collaborative international photojournalism curriculum published by UNESCO. She has also lead photojournalism study abroad programs in India, Spain and Cuba.
