Roundtable Conversation
Saturday, November 04 - 2:00PM to 3:00PM
Granite Peak, Granlibakken Conference Center
Photography, like science, is an empirical pursuit. In the studio, laboratory, and field we experiment, observe, interpret, respond, and record. Yet artistic and scientific disciplines carry differing skills, assumptions, histories, values, and visions. Between that common ground and difference there may be magic. This session will serve as a meeting place for artists who find threads of the scientific within their arts practice/works, artists who collaborate with scientists, people teaching at art/science intersections, and those curious to explore. We will share our stories and discuss opportunities, resources, and challenges.
Conversation limited to 10 people. Sign up during online registration.
