'Animals of the West' was a three part project looking at how people interact with the megafauna surrounding them in Wyoming both aesthetically and scientifically. I worked with an array of different scientists, most prominantly expert camera trapper Dr. Jonny Armstrong, to create compelling visuals both documenting and using these interactions. We camera trapped large mammals, documented a taxidermist at work and staged still lives in the University of Wyoming's specimen collection, each approach showing one facet of our complex relationship with our surroundings.
