“Making it!”: Oklahoma City Based Professional Photographers Discuss their Careers and Current Trends Today

Brett Deering is an Oklahoma City based photographer focusing primarily on commercial and editorial location portraiture, along with architecture and journalism and the occasional special and unit production for the film industry. Editorial clients include Washington Post Magazine, American Way Magazine, Spirit Magazine, Inked Magazine, NBCNews.com, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Getty Images. Commercial clients include Mountain Dew, Massey Ferguson, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Save the Children, Enable Midstream Partners, CenterPoint Energy, and OG&E. Category winner in PDN's 2011 “Objects of Desire.” Deering currently lives in Midtown Oklahoma City in an old house in a constant state of repair.
