Where Online Event
SPE Mid-Atlantic invites photography and video educators and industry professionals to propose an online Masterclass, Workshop or Learning Seminar to be held synchronously on Saturday October 10 (but proposals may include asynchronous material delivered before and/or after). Synchronous content can be flexible - and depending on the material, could be as simple Q/A covering distributed materials. Synchronous sessions should be between 45-75 minutes in length.
Accepted proposals will guide participants in learning a new skill or an activity, or share valuable pedagogical approaches that yield opportunities for positive momentum in the classroom or studio. It is SPEMA's primary goal to promote and support participatory experiences over a lecture-style online event.
Submissions will be accepted from current SPE members (regardless of Chapter affiliation) as well as non-SPE members. Non-members whose proposals are accepted will have 10 days to join SPE in order to be added to the conference schedule. Membership information is available at www.spenational.org.
To submit, combine the following into a single PDF proposal and email to midatlantic@spenational.org no later than September 1 @ 11:59 PM EST. There is no fee to submit a proposal.
Honorariums of $150 will be awarded to selected proposals.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
Please join the conversation.
