Richard Newman has worked in media production for the past four decades. He was part of the "Hill Street Blues" Emmy Awardwinning sound team and was awarded a Golden Reel Award for his sound work on Frank Nitti: The Enforcer. Richard's videos, photographs and writings have appeared in PDN Edu, Digital Photo Pro, View Camera, and LensWork, among others publications. He has authored three photography books and produced several videos, including NERSHI-LAW Live. His work documenting the Exxon Valdez oil spill can be found in the White House photography archives and the permanent collection of the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
