In this new body of photographs Ford explores the intersection of art and science, chaos and climate, while trying to understand the tenuous equilibrium and complexity of the interconnectedness of the arid landscapes of the American West and life's biological processes. She further investigates the core elements (CHON) within the ecosystem, for reclamation and restoration of a planet in peril.
