Our presentation will delve into the concept of reciprocity and community by examining how black and white photography can capture and convey the essence of human connections and mutually beneficial exchanges. The students will showcase their projects, each focusing on different aspects of community building and relational dynamics.
Our objectives will be to explore the concept of reciprocity in community building through the lens of black and white photography, to demonstrate how the absence of color can emphasize the emotional and relational aspects of community interactions, and to share personal insights and experiences of students in capturing community essence through their work.
By tying together the theme of reciprocity with black and white photography, our presentation aims to provide a unique perspective on community building. We believe that the absence of color can often bring out the deeper emotional and relational aspects of human interactions, offering a compelling narrative on the importance of community and mutual support.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
