Robin Dru Germany, BA (Philosophy-Tulane), MFA (Photography-University of North Texas) is a Professor of Photography at Texas Tech University. Her research investigates the tenuous border between the land and the water, looking simultaneously at the sunlit human world above and the undisclosed darkness beneath the water. Germany has exhibited at the Fort Wayne Art Museum; the Center for Photography at Woodstock, the Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, at the New York Hall of Science; in Arezzo Italy at the Fotografia Festival, the Art Museum of South Texas in Corpus Christie Texas and in galleries and museums around the country.
