Rhode Island School of Design in located in downtown Providence, RI, and surrounded by a number of hotels at various price points. In addition, Providence has many affordable Air BnB options as well as lower cost hotels located a few miles outside of the city if you are traveling by car.
We have provided a link to our favorite local hotel below, but the options are broader than we can list here, and we encourage you to seach TripAdvisor, Hotels.com and Air BnB for downtown Providence and find a spot that works for you!
Providence is a very walkable city, and rentals and hotels on the West and East sides of town are also great options for a more local experience.
The Dean Hotel is a boutique hotel located in a former brothel in downtown Providence. Featuring a wide variety of room types from bunk beds to luxury suites, the Dean also has Bolt Coffee Company and North Restaurant on site. Both coffee shop and restaurant are locally owned and run, and are popular with Providence residents and visitors alike.
