Jeff Nilan received his MFA from Indiana University where he also taught for a number of years. In addition to teaching at IU, he worked as the Assistant Book Conservator for the Lilly Library. Jeff's hand-made books have been shown throughout the United States and are in multiple Artists' book collections. His art draws influence from his roots and upbringing, as well as the landscape and culture of the Midwest -- he is interested in the ways that art reflects and shapes the mythology of a region. Jeff currently resides in Delaware, Ohio and is Professor of Photography at Ohio Wesleyan University.
