Friday, November 02 - 10:30AM to 11:50AM
Student Center Ballroom B, University of Kentucky

Finding and securing a teaching position in any field is difficult. This panel offers an opportunity to those who are about to start seeking employment in this field, and those who would like some advice on the application and interview process. Main topics of discussion include how to find job postings, which items to include in your application packets, such as teaching philosophies and sample syllabi, how to prepare personal and student portfolios, what actually happens on the job interview. Questions are encouraged and all are welcome to join the discussion during this panel.
