Julia Kier Wilson is a photographic-based artist who investigates the ways in which language--both visual and verbal--create meaning and ideological perception. Julia's work studies the creation and fluidity of meaning through text and image to reveal the subjectivity in interpreting experience. Julia received a Bachelor of Arts in Classical studies with a concentration in Latin and Ancient Greek translation at the University of Virginia and is currently working on her Master of Fine Arts at The Savannah College of Art and Design and will graduate in the spring of 2018.
