Eliot Dudik
Friday, October 18 - 11:00AM to 11:45AM
UNCC Center City Building // 201 Auditorium
Artist and educator, Eliot Dudik, will begin this session with a presentation of past and current photographic works that predominately explore Southern culture and landscape. Dudik will be presenting photographs from his newest series for the first time, which examine the American Civil War as it exists in the consciousness of people today.
Dudik will be concluding this presentation with a discussion on the role of photographic film in a digital age. Is there still a place for it alongside digital technology, or has it already gone the way of an antique process?
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
