Her photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally and are in
numerous permanent collections including the Smithsonian Institution and The
Muesum of Fine Arts Houston. Hoskins is the recipient of numerous grants and
fellowships including: The John Anson Kittredge Educational Fund, The Ella
Lyman Cabot Trust and an Illinois Arts Council Photography Fellowship.
Hoskins was profiled on NPR's Weekend Edition and NPR's Picture Show,
which received an award from The White House News Photographers
Association. She was one of four photographers selected for the 2010 Robert C.
May Photography Endowment Lecture Series at The Art Museum at The
University of Kentucky.
Hoskins is also an educator. She has received two Illinois Arts Council Short-
Term Residency grants to teach photography to homeless men, women, and
children. She was a speaker in 2010, 2007 and 2004 at the prestigious Women
In Photography Workshops at Empire State College NYC.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
