Chromoskedasic is Greek for "color by light scattering".
Sabatier Effect (or solarization) is a phenomenon in which the tones of a photograph are partially or completely reversed (light areas become dark and dark areas become light) due to the exposure of a light source prior to fixing the photographic substrate.
In this workshop, participants will engage with the chromo (easier to say name) process. We will work in the darkroom to start making a print, take the prints into the light, apply some chemistry, and challenge our understanding of what a silver gelatin print can be. Participants will have the opportunity to make several chromo prints using both analogue and digital negatives (and perhaps no negatives!).
Limited to 15 Participants, please bring negatives to print
