Garth Amundson

Since 2000 Garth Amundson has been one of the people the SPENW region has relied upon for conference organization and support, for fund-raising to enable student attendance, for providing leadership by presenting his work at regional conferences, for supporting other regional conferences, and for providing LGBTQ+ leadership for the region. He recognizes the importance of SPE as an educational vehicle and opportunity for his students. He has raised money to enable students from his institution to attend thirteen national conferences and five regional conferences. He has spoken about his work or given teaching and learning presentations at nine regional or national conferences. He has been a portfolio reviewer or portfolio review coordinator at three or more national conferences. This has helped make SPE National thrive.
