My body of work: 'Possibauern,' investigates notions of the the perceived authenticity of photographic imagery, as well as physical materiality. It's subject matter; a landscape of manufactured architectural artifice and simulacra - embody a complex construction of contemporary presumptions regarding the built environment and cultural aesthetics. I am proud to have developed this body of the work during my last year in university, and believe it to be the hard-fought, cumulative efforts of my education up until that point. I am curious to see how the process can continue to illuminate my means of perception as well as what kind of conversations it can provoke.
