Friday, November 04 - 1:00PM to 2:00PM
In this talk, I will discuss the evolution of my work beginning with my first visual memory when I was three years old and tracing the ten-year trajectory of my art practice from high school to grad school. In doing so, I will address the themes of memory, place, and female roles that have always been integral to my work and how those ideas play out in my current research on Southern California and the lost women portrayed in culture.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
