I am a physicist by training with a background in astrophysics and bioelectromagnetics - I now work as an R&D engineer for a Nashville internet company. Photography has been a passion since I was introduced to the darkroom in my early teens. I find most kinds of photography interesting in some way, but in my own work I like to play with experimental techniques and ideas: camera-free imaging, extreme long exposures, odd photosensitive materials, optical phenomena, multiple exposures... I'm all over it if it doesn't follow the recipe of holding up a camera and releasing the shutter to get a very near likeness of what is in front of you!
