Tara Lyon attended the University at Buffalo, earning a BA in Media Studies. She continued her studies at Arizona State University where she earned a MAS in Media Studies and Popular Culture. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Visual and Performing Arts from the University of Texas, Dallas.
