Jessica is a curator, art entrepreneur, and PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Dallas specializing in American art, with a particular emphasis on Texas art, photography, and feminism. She is currently working on a dissertation that surveys Texas women photographers, with the goal of publishing her research as part of a four-book series.
