"The Post-Apocalyptic Travel Guide" is Tara Lyon's current project that records the decay, repair, and plant activity in a seemingly abandoned public and industrial landscape. This work documents the aesthetically post-apocalyptic in our contemporary landscape as a comment on capitalism, throw away society, and the "American Dream." This photography project is being expanded into a larger hybrid work including performance, video, and installation practices. "This way folks, on your left is freedom and on the right is the American way."
