Dana Fritz, Professor of Photography at University of Nebraska – Lincoln, questions ideas of Eastern and Western pictorial space, landscape as construct, and the inherent tension between the real and ideal. Her monograph Terraria Gigantica: The World under Glass, published this fall by the University of New Mexico Press, will be on sale throughout the conference.
