Getting to Know You: Creating A Contemporary Corredo in the Midwest
Annmarie Suglio is an interdisciplinary visual artist and educator. Currently living in Madison, Wisconsin, she is a Master of Fine Art candidate in Photography at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds two Bachelor of Fine Art degrees in Fiber + Material Studies and Sculpture from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her research is rooted in investigating the past in respect to her Italian lineage. The work utilizes photography and textiles to address the themes of identity and culture.
