Do Not Bend: The Photographic Life of Bill Jay (Film Screening and Panel)
Mary Virginia Swanson is an educator, author and advisor and who guides artists to find the strengths in their work, identify appropriate audiences, and present their work in a professional, informed manner.
Swanson received her MFA in Photography from Arizona State University (1979) and embarked on a career that has encompassed the fine art, editorial, documentary and licensing arenas, bringing an important range of perspectives on both the making and marketing of art to her students and clients. She was named SPE's Honored Educator in 2015.
