A PhD Candidate in Visual Studies at the University of California, Irvine, I earned my Master's degree from the program in 2015. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Art History at Smith College, I established a scholarly and curatorial focus in photography as the Andrew W. Mellon Post-Baccalaureate Curatorial Fellow and Acting Curator of American Art at the Mead Art Museum at Amherst College and through subsequent curatorial internships at the Center for Creative Photography, the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art, and elsewhere. My graduate research focuses on contemporary American photography.
