Photographs by Jeff Burk, Don McKenna and Mallory Trecaso. Structures and built environments provide the foundation for exploration in the work of these three contemporary photographers. Throughout the Midwest, and within the Rust Belt cities of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania, these artists document not only remnants of current and past generations but also invite the viewer to look for ideas beyond the surfaces.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
