Jenny Kettler's work explores the complex and interwoven relationships with the natural world in the Anthropocene. She photographs plastic bags caught in trees that haunt the Midwest landscape and considers transforming the negative trajectory of plastic to create positive informed attitudes in what Susan Sontag refers to as "ethical action."
