Artist-Run Gallery Collectives 101: The Nuts and Bolts of one Midwestern Model
Areca Roe is an artist based in Minnesota. She works in many media; primarily photography, as well as video, sculpture, and installation. A recurrent theme in her work is the interface between the natural and human domains. She has received several Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative grants and an Art(ists) on the Verge Fellowship in 2017. Areca is an Assistant Professor of photography at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
