Post-New Topographic Photography as an Approach for Increasing Social Awareness
Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., Tracy Fish received her MFA in Experimental & Documentary Arts from Duke University (2015) and a BA in Art Studio from Coastal Carolina University. She is currently the Assistant Professor of Photography at University of Nevada teaching courses in still and moving image. Fish uses her interest in culture and history as a catalyst to explore themes of familial narrative, memory and place through a variety of mediums including photography, audio and experimental videography.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
