Noelle Theard is a photographer and educator who studied journalism at UT Austin and African diaspora studies at FIU, where she currently teaches three classes: African Visual Arts, Global Hip-Hop, and Black Popular Cultures. She is currently pursuing her MFA from Parsons. Noelle founded the photography program at Miami's Museum of Contemporary Art; she was the discipline coordinator for the YoungArts program for three years; and she was a contract photographer with the Miami Herald for five years. Ms. Theard is a founding member of FotoKonbit, along with Marie Arago and Tatiana Mora Liautaud.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
