Eric Weeks' photographs from his series World Was in the Face of the Beloved were recently exhibited at Galerie Catherine et André Hug in Paris and EDS Galeria in Mexico City. A monograph, awarded by Photo District News as "One of the Best Photo Books of 2007", was published by Pablo's Birthday in New York. Eric's photographs have been exhibited internationally, and are represented in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, Maison Européene de la Photographie and the Sir Elton John Collection, among others. He received an Individual Creative Artists Fellowship Grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts for 2007.
Eric is currently an Assistant Professor at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is also an advisory board member of the Tierney Fellowship. His work is represented by Jackson Fine art in Atlanta, Galerie Catherine et André Hug in Paris, EDS Galeria in Mexico City and Wave Photo Gallery in Brescia, Italy.
