Christine Welch, MFA, is the Chair of the Photography Department at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (Lancaster, PA.). She has exhibited her work throughout the Northeast and her prints are in the collections of the Corcoran Gallery of Art, (Washington, DC), The Philadelphia Museum of Art (Philadelphia, PA), and The Johnson and Johnson Corporate Collection. Her first book of images, Commonplace, with a conclusion by John R. Stilgoe, PhD, Harvard University, was published in 2004 by The Center for American Places (Harrisonburg, VA). She is a Trustee of the Demuth Museum in Lancaster, PA.
