Bess Bieluczyk was born and raised in the Connecticut suburbs. She received her MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and her BA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has been selected for exhibitions at the Bry Gallery at the University of Louisiana, Monroe, The Masur Museum of Art, The Acadiana Center for the Arts and the traveling, group exhibition, Spinning Yarns: Photographic Storytellers. Her recent bodies of work culminated in the series Subtle Hysteria and Assembling Intimacy. The focus of her work is women and domestic life. She lives happily in Baltimore, MD.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
