Reflecting the Times: Image-Making and Education in the Shadow of Genocide
Harrison Moenich is an artist living and working in Richmond, Virginia. They received their BFA's from Virginia Commonwealth University in both Film Making and Photography in 2011 and their MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2016. They have exhibited nationally and are in several public and private collections. Their work often deals with concerns surrounding the photographic medium; whether physical exploration/deterioration, or social implications and politicization. Their work often meets at the intersection of photography, sculpture and painting.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
