Emma Ressel (b. Bar Harbor, ME) is a photographer working with natural history archives. Ressel earned her BA in Photography at Bard College and her MFA at University of New Mexico. She was shortlisted for the 2025 Aperture Portfolio Prize and is a postdoc fellow at University of New Mexico.
