Freestyle - Inkjet Printing Demonstration Class and Printing Clinic #1

Eric Jospeh

Friday, March 20 - 1:00PM to 2:30PM
Georgia 12

Eric Joseph will perform a 1.5 hour digital printing workshop using a Canon Pro-2600 24 inch Large Format Printer on fine art inkjet papers from Canson-Infinity & Hahnemühle Digital Fine Art.

Topics will include:

  • Learn the benefits of Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-Series printers

  • Overall discussion on inkjet paper and introduction of new papers from Canson-Infinity and Hahnemühle Digital Fine Art

  • Using Canon Professional Print & Layout as the primary printing interface

  • Hold to load sheets and rolls of paper on a Canon Large Format Printer

  • Answer any and all question regarding inkjet printing with archival pigment printers

During the workshop Eric will print for participants with print ready files on a variety of different papers from Canson-Infinity and Hahnemühle Digital Fine Art.
Print size will be 13 x 19 inches so please format your files as follows:

  • Color Space = Adobe RGB (1998)

  • Format = Flattened TIF

  • Size = 17 inches on the long side for rectangle images / 12 inches for square images

  • Resolution = 300 ppi

  • Bit Depth = If the file was built from an original RAW file then maintain 16 bit

We will print for as many workshop participants as time permits (probably about 10). Have your files ready on a thumb drive or hard drive and we will pick them at random.
Make sure to only load a few images on your not 10, not 100 or 1,000.  We want to be respectful of everyone's time and not have to sort through a ton of files to find a good one.

If we don't get around to printing your image in the workshop, we will be in booth #XXX and can print it there during the conference.
