Jayonna Johnson discovered a love for photography in her hometown of Cleveland, OH, and has since developed her skills as a visual storyteller at the University of Dayton. Currently in her 3rd year as a photo major, Johnson's art and editorial work aims to create a tangible intimacy between the subject and the viewer. She is a recent recipient of a national Imagining American JGS fellowship and several regional project grants for her work around faith and community.
Dialogue and critique are important to the SPE mission.
